The local copies of records from the selected Z39.50 server are presented in this window.

To transfer a specified record to the local database, click on the image which is shown in the left margin of each record.  The record is removed from the text area but the page with the results stays open to permit continuing with the capture of records. The captured record is shown in the text area of the local database, allowing editing before being saved in the definitive form.

If a conversion format is selected, the same one is applied during the capture option.

The records retrieved use the MARC-8 table to represent special characters and diacritics.  The equivalence between the diacritics and the ANSI alphabet is controlled by the option Configure Z39.50 client in the principal menu of ABCD.
