Databases of items available for lending

Databases defined under ABCD containing items available for lending can be selected by means of this procedure.

Choose a database from the displayed list and then click on Go to define the necessary parameters and formats to link the database to the loan system.

All in all, you should define

• Key to access titles
• The means of determining the total copies of the title
• How to extract information from each copy
• How to display the title's catalographic information
• What information must be transferred to the loans database, to identify lent items and to obtain statistics
• How to display the information on a lent item , once it has been stored in the loans database.

After selecting the database, an entry form will be displayed, prompting to enter parameters and formats required by this procedure.
