Access permissions in ABCD 

The ABCD Operators or users are the people who have access to the different functions and databases as defined in the system. There are 8 types of Operators:

System Administrators

They have access to all the modules, functions and databases defined under ABCD. System Administrators are also in charge of defining new users and assign access permissions

Database Administrators

They can:

Database Operators

They can:

Loans Administrators

They can:

Loans Operators

They can:

Acquisitions Administrator

Acquisitions Operator

Thesauri Administrator

In the window you will see the operators currently defined in ABCD. To delete an operator, add the Eliminated icon in the corresponding row. By clicking on the editing icon, you can then reutilise the record.

Create New Operator

Click on New User to create a new ABCD operator. A worksheet is presented with the required fields. Fill in the necessary data and click:

depending on the required action.

Edit Operator

Click the editing icon associated with the operator you wish to modify. A worksheet is presented with the required fields. Edit the necessary data and click save or cancel depending on the required action.

Eliminate Operator

Click the eliminate icon associated with the operator you wish to delete.
